Anyone on X can open a one-hour fund for a person or a charity appeal by mentioning the bot. While it’s open it sits at the top of the community vault’s ballot and takes direct contributions. A person claims theirs here with their X login; a charity’s is passed on by us.
Mention the bot
Reply under an appeal or post: “@LaunchOnVA start a fund for @name …”. Add “$500” for a goal, “for 2 hours” for a longer window.
It goes live at once
The bot replies with the link. The fund is open for an hour — reply “extend” to add another — and is pinned to this cycle's vote.
Claim or pass on
A person signs in with the X account named and picks a wallet; payout follows a 24-hour review. Charity funds are donated by us when they close.
Funds are listed automatically and unreviewed. Money is withheld from any claim that turns out to be false, impersonating, or not the person named — withheld money is not kept by us; it is returned to the community vault for the next charity. Contributions are not donations and are not tax-deductible. If you are the subject of a fund you did not ask for, contact @LaunchOnVA.
